I've been brooding some chicks for a friend who lives off the grid and has inconsistent power. I want to keep a few (preferably legally). So I am working with my hometown to legalize chickens. The funny thing is that with our current laws I can keep a 200 lb. potbellied pig here in my backyard, but I can't have a chicken. Well, hopefully that will change soon.
