Amazing New Exercise Program!

I am so excited to finally find the perfect weight loss exercise program-- and I only need to exercise 7 minutes a day, 3 days a week!

I've been reading about short term high intensity workouts for a year or two now, but I haven't found a good way to seriously implement the idea-- until now. This is the best program I've ever seen, and you can do it with their diet program or without it. It's called the 7 Minute Workout. I totally love it. And it really works! I'll keep you up-to-date on how it is going for me, here on this blog.

And what's also great is that I can turn it into a home based business opportunity that has huge potential for income! It goes so well with what I believe and what I am doing health-wise online.

Join the Fight to for the Right to Eat What We Choose!

Congressman Ron Paul of Texas introduced House Bill HR1830 last week. The bill was introduced after an FBI raid of a small Amish farm in Pennsylvania that was suspected of selling raw milk to out-of-state consumers.

The bill simply lifts the Federal ban on Interstate sale of raw milk. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is! It is part of a continuing battle for the right to eat what we decide is healthy, and it is part of the battle for the rights of interstate commerce in the United States.

Tell others of this bill and contact your congressmen to support the bill! As a fellow raw milk supporter, Joe Phillips put it, "If we should be free to do anything, we should be free to choose what we wish to eat."

Thomas Jefferson said, "If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls who live under tyranny"

Backyard Chickens

We are in the process of getting our home town to legalize backyard chickens.

I've been brooding some chicks for a friend who lives off the grid and has inconsistent power. I want to keep a few (preferably legally). So I am working with my hometown to legalize chickens. The funny thing is that with our current laws I can keep a 200 lb. potbellied pig here in my backyard, but I can't have a chicken. Well, hopefully that will change soon.

They are Silkies, Polish, Red Stars, RIRs, Salmon Faverolles, Wellsummers, Ameraucanas and a black mystery bird from a local 4H girl.

40 Day Challenge

I have started my 40 Day Challenge in the first week of November! I adapted it from on of the trainings on MLM Lead System Pro-- the 100 Day Challenge. Because of the holidays coming up I decided to do two 40 Day Challenges. One before the holidays and one after them.

Supporters Needed for Our Mission to Tonga

PRESS RELEASE:
On August 2 - August 16, 2009 a group of 9 individuals (mostly from Kingman, AZ) have been offered the chance to go to the Kingdom of Tonga for a mission trip.

"This will hopefully be a life changing experience for the people we come in contact with, as well as ourselves," said Dianne Ronnow, the group leader.

On this 14-day missions trip the group will be ministering to the people of Tonga through drama, music, street witnessing, school and home visits and basic medical supplies for handicapped people, as well as some needed construction work. The group will be working with the Pacific Partners Christian radio station and local Christian ministries in their efforts to reach out and spread the gospel to the Tongan people.

They are going in association with Calvary Chapel of Kingman, Arizona. Calvary Chapel of Kingman has a long history and connection to Tonga. In 1991 Calvary Chapel of Kingman Arizona teamed with UCB Pacific Partners to start the first radio station in the Kingdom of Tonga, and Letio Faka-Kalisitiane 93FM came on air - the first local Christian station anywhere in the South Pacific Islands.

The first mission trip to go to Tonga from Kingman was in 1999, when they sent a team to build a new building for the radio station. Calvary Chapel has continued to send mission teams to help Pacific Partners and to keep ties with their Tongan brothers and sisters over the years.

Tonga has a population of less than 200,000 people spread over 163 islands. Tonga is the only surviving monarchy in the South Pacific and the only country in the region that was not colonized in the 1800's. Like all Pacific Islands, there was no written language before the first missionaries arrived (mid 1800's) yet Tongan people can trace their history back over 1000 years.

In Tonga, hardship and poverty are becoming daily concerns for many due to increasing needs for cash, emigration from the outer islands to urban areas and overseas, and crowded conditions in some urban areas. Based on an analysis of the 2001 Household Income and Expenditure Survey, about 23% of households were estimated to be living below the basic needs poverty line of $13 (US) per person per week.

The mission team will be assisting the radio station in all their efforts to help the Tongan people. They also plan on making new connections with the people in Tonga and learning more about their culture.
